UNLV University Libraries presents “Night at the Libraries” In-Person

Campus Location: Lied Library Amargosa Room, 1st Floor
Description of event: Join us for Night at the Libraries event for Nevada History Day 2018 participants. Librarians will provide students with exercises on topic-narrowing, and discuss how to locate and work with books and other information resources in the UNLV Libraries. Those students with an interest in researching a local topic related to this year’s theme of “Leadership and Legacy in History” can also visit the UNLV Libraries Special Collections Division which contains extensive collections of unique primary source material on the history of Las Vegas and Nevada.
Special Instructions: In the Comments section of the registration form – please indicate the student’s name and potential topic, IF they have one – it is not necessary to list a topic if they are still thinking about it.
