Impact the Future: Celebrating the Next 50 Years In-Person

Friday, April 6, 5:30-7 p.m.

Goldfield Room, 3rd Floor, Lied Library

Join the University Libraries and Dean Maggie Farrell as we host this special event celebrating the 50th anniversary of Special Collections & Archives, the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art, the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality, and the Lee Business School.

For this joint golden-anniversary event, we’ve assembled the Deans and Directors of each of these key UNLV units to discuss what we’re doing and where we’ve been, and look ahead to the different, daring, and diverse projects that will impact the next 50 years in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada.

Panelists include Dr. Brent Hathaway, Dean & Ted and Doris Lee Professor of Business, Alisha Kerlin, Interim Director of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art, Michelle Light, Director of Special Collections and Archives, and Dr. Stowe Shoemaker, Dean of William F. Harrah College of Hospitality. Maggie Farrell, Dean of University Libraries, will serve as moderator.

Seating is limited.

If you have any special accommodation needs, please contact Lonnie Marshall in University Libraries Administration in advance at 702-895-4517 or lonnie.marshall@unlv.edu.
