Curiosity Compass: Mapping Your Path to Meaningful Research In-Person

This interactive workshop invites students to explore their natural curiosity and understand how it connects to academic disciplines. Participants will take a curiosity assessment to identify their personal curiosity style, reflect on information they naturally gravitate toward in everyday life, and discover how these interests align with scholarly fields. Through guided activities, students will map connections between their personal questions and academic disciplines, learning how both community knowledge and scholarly research can provide complementary perspectives. By the end of the session, students will have developed concrete action steps for exploring disciplines that match their curiosity profile and research interests.
