Showing Impact in the Arts Online
Join the University Libraries for this introductory workshop to learn about the variety of ways to demonstrate the significance, impact, and reach of the unique types of scholarly and creative works in the visual and performing arts and other related disciplines. This workshop briefly covers researcher IDs, bibliometrics, and altmetrics; however, the main focus will be on other methods of showing impact in the arts.
Richard Saladino, Art, Architecture & Design Librarian, and Christina Miskey, Scholarly Communication Librarian for Research Infrastructure, will help you learn about tools and resources available to show the impact of your scholarly and creative works; compare and discuss quantitative and qualitative practices for demonstrating impact; and understand a variety of methods for telling the story of the significance, reach, and impact of your work.
