Game Jam 2024 Registration Deadline

Have an idea for a new physical board or card game? Get help bringing it to life during Game Jam 2024 at Lied Library. A game jam is an event where people come together to create their own games.

Five teams of 2-3 students each will compete to build a physical game using resources from the Makerspace in Lied Library. Community-wide voting will determine the winner.

Register your team (up to three individuals) by Sunday, August 25. Chosen teams will be notified of their selection by August 26. Team members should complete a Makerspace Orientation prior to the kickoff event.

A Game Jam kickoff event will take place on Tuesday, September 3 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Makerspace at Lied Library.

Teams will have from September 3-24 to design and finalize their game prototype. Public voting on the games will run from September 25-October 2 in Lied Library.

The winner of Game Jam 2024 will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday, October 3 at Lied Library.
