Introduction to Open Access Publishing In-Person / Online

This workshop will focus on the practical aspects of open access, including how to achieve open sharing of scholarly publications with confidence. You will get tips for navigating an increasingly complex world of open access publishing and learn about library resources available to UNLV authors that support OA publishing.

After attending this workshop, you will be able to find open access journals in your field, and identify characteristics of good practices in open access journal publishing and avoid predatory publishers.
