Decolonizing Data Collection and Management In-Person
This session introduces key principles of decolonizing data and examines how colonial practices continue to shape common data collection and management workflows.
Participants will explore how applying a decolonial lens to data work can surface power dynamics, center community context, and support more ethical and reparative approaches to data collection, stewardship, and use.
