Voting 101: Researching Candidates In-Person
During an election cycle, it can be overwhelming to sift through the mass amounts of information and messaging surrounding a candidate. Their values, plans, and initiatives are often lost in the onslaught of 24 hour media cycles and candidate attacks.
In this workshop, we discuss the factors that contribute to this information landscape, identify strategies for cutting through the noise, and employ some tools to determine what candidates are really about before you cast your ballot.
Finally, we will discuss the upcoming Nevada Caucus, happening February 22, and how you can participate.
