Learn About Online Historical Collections from Adam Matthew Digital In-Person / Online

Learn about the digitized primary sources that are available through the UNLV Libraries. From documents kept by the British, Dutch, French and Spanish governments in Colonial Caribbean to papers of LGBTQ+ activist groups in Sex and Sexuality, these collections contain fascinating historical primary sources.

Dot Kelly, an Engagement Manager at Adam Matthew Digital, will take you through the collections available to you, showing how to find primary sources within those collections and how to refine your search results.

There will be opportunities to ask about sources you could use and the best ways to begin your research.

We’ll discuss how these collections are created and do live demonstrations of using the collections, with time for questions and discussion on how they could help your research or teaching.
